Romanian George Dorobantu’s
Elevator is about a couple stuck in the lift of a deserted factory building. The autodidact filmmaker, once a sailor, is going to tell among others the story of shooting a film in the elevator of a Bucarest theatre from as much as 200 euros – as he is going to be our guest on Saturday! The viewers can meet him first after the screening at 20.30 in Toldi, then on Sunday in Örökmozgó.

Hunger by Steve McQueen which is about the last 6 weeks of hunger striker Bobby Sands, member of IRA. The movie, as best first film, was attributed the Golden Camera Award in Cannes and now is in Titanic competition section, on programme tonight at 20.15 in Uránia!
