Baltasar Kormákur, president of Titanic International Film Festival Jury and last year’s winner of
Breaking Waves Award for Jar City, presents his Chekhovian movie called
White Night Wedding this year at the festival. The screening starts at 21.15 in
Toldi Cinema, and is followed by a Q&A before Titanic party held at the same venue starts at 23.00 featuring Dj Cadik. Everybody is welcome at both events – those who have seen the film will get a bonus drink with their ticket!

The Headless Man’s Hand, a psychological thriller with his brother, Guillaume. The film, a hair-raising inner journey, was inspired by Hitchcock’s Vertigo, spiced with hand mutilations, agoraphobia and a brilliant diving accident scene. Those who have missed Norwegian movie
North are expected this afternoon at 17.00 in
Toldi Cinema for its last screening at Titanic. The film is a crossroads between Coen brothers’
Fargo and Attila Gigor’s
Investigator and David Lynch's
Straight Story in a Norwegian road movie, with lots of humour and bizarre but loveable characters. Festival guest
Anders Baasmo, the lead actor explained, among others, the special Norwegian alcohol consuming traditions seen in the movie. If you want to get to know these, come and see the film!
