Two 12-year old boys find themselves in a young girl’s flat with two other men and here they experience their first encounter with love and sexuality. The children drink, throw up and are intoxicated by love and ”the shameless, unbridled and licentious” world in which David, Kateřina and Štěpán live. The film cleverly suggests the sluggish passing of time, a phenomenon we all recognise from childhood.

Screening with: Non Swimmers (Jakub Šmíd, 2011, 23’)

Wendy, a 16-year-old girl finds herself spending the summer vacation in an abandoned holiday resort where nothing happens, just a bunch of local teenagers drink and kill time in the empty pool.
